Lowered Cars - Front Camber

Post by cammmy » Wed May 11, 2022 1:59 pm

Hi All

Been doing a lot of searching on lowering these and one thing that comes up is front negative camber increase when lowered. I was wondering at what point either the adjustable bushes or arms become necessary? I was thinking about maybe 20mm or so. Has anyone had experience with this amount? Did you have tyre wear issues?

Have you considered how you would get to jack the car up if you lower it? Or more importantly get the jack out after lowering it :D I dont know about your jack, but my low profile trolley jack only just gets under the car as it is now

With the jacks I have, it shouldn't be an issue to lower it somewhere between 10-20mm. That's why I went with the KW though, as I can adjust them to where I need them.

I ended up buying the powerflex adjustable bushes as I have a press, so shouldn't be a big deal to do while I'm sorting the suspension.
