Hello guys!
Where is the crankshaft sensor located?
How do you reach it?
Is calibration required, or can you just change it?
I'm also looking for drawings over the engine so you can find where parts are located?

Crank shaft sensor
Re: Crank shaft sensor
The crank shaft sensor (G28) is placed at the very bottom and end of the engine just blow the clutch wheel. It is fixed with a single screw and very easy to access. Just replace it, no calibration needed.
Re: Crank shaft sensor
Thank's!
I ordered a new one due to a problem I have with the rpm guage, and the startmotor I think. When the engine is really warm the guage stop working. This is only from start and not during ride. Every time this happens there is a noise sounding just like the startmotor 10 sec after I started the car. But this happens never cold. Can this be the crankshaft sensor not giving the right signal. My Shop says this sensor seldom sets a code, as in this case. And the starter dos not stopp because it dont properly sens the engine has started??
