Weird noise @ specific rpm

Here is a weird one for you.
Between 2000 and 2500rpm, in mainly 3d and 4th gear, sometimes 5th although I think its not gear related, at gentle part throttle but a bit more than driving like a taxi driver, I get a fairly noticeable noise coming from around the front of the car, which at first instance resembles a wheel bearing of some sort. It does follow the engine acceleration noise, and as it surpasses the 2500rpm margin it stops on its own.
If I accelerate faster there is no noise. If I drive casually there is no noise. If I floor it there is no noise. It us not related with a cold or warm engine, although I do tend to be able to reproduce it more after a normal engine temperature. It's not there after long drives or heavy accelerations.
I had the right side wheel bearing replaced but made no difference. Car runs and drives without issues or fault codes.
I'm at a point that I can't even get the mechanic to hear it as it doesn't do it all the time.
I'm thinking more of the front belt tensioner for the alternator at this point which I'm not too keen to have everything ripped apart just for that. My 2nd thought could be the center driveshaft bearing although the noise seems to be more prominent from the front of the engine.
Although the car has very low mileage I suspect the previous owner didn't drive it very much and as I do, perhaps humidity may have caused bearing issues to appear.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
