Hello guys!

My car is lowered by the previous owner, and I suffer from front inner tyre wear.
Some questions concerning this.

1: Has any one fitted an adjustable caber kit?
2: What was the outcom of the 4 wheel alignment?
3: Where can I buy this kit?

If I remember correctly there have been a few other people on here with lowered cars asking the same question and, after some looking about on the internet, it was decided that there was no C6/4F RS6 specific camber kit available anywhere which will give you more than the slight OEM adjustment and as you now know the very small OEM adjustment just isn't enough to prevent wear.

There's a few whole suspension replacement kits which include adjustable top mounts (Yellowspeed etc) but I don't think anyone has bought these and then reported back on the forum so it's just guesswork, sorry.

With just 0.5 degree's of adjustment IIRC these may not adjust far enough on lowered cars (the front OEM camber spec is 0.38 degrees - 40mm lower cars tend to be around 1 degree I think) so you could make it "better" but it may/may not still rub depending on just how lowered you are, and if it did rub it would only be just a bit less. However you could always still buy them to try and if it's enough adjustment then great news and if it's not then at least we all know that there still isn't a solution.

To be fair i could be mis-reading the 0.5' figure on the website as "0.5' total" as it does say it's a "double offset" kit so it could be 0.5' per bush for 1' total per side or it could be 0.25' doubled to 0.5' per side, I'm not 100% sure.

The RS6 bushings are stiffer than the A6/S6 ones so while the arms may be the same between a Rs6 and A6/S6 they are different part numbers because to the different bushings, except for one -

Lower Front Control Arms - Both the same
RS6 - 4F0 407 151 A
A6/S6 - 4F0 407 151 A

Upper Front Control Arms - Different
RS6 - 4E0 407 506 F
A6/S6 - 4E0 407 506 E

Upper Rear Control Arms - Different
RS6 - 4E0 407 509 F
A6/S6 - 4E0 407 510 G

Lower Rear Control Arms - Different
RS6 - 4F0 407 694 K
A6/S6 - 4F0 407 694 H

IIRC as the actual metal arms are the same you could fit A6/S6 parts but the bushings would be softer than normal which might cause other issues but I don't think anyone knows how much softer they are.

As I mentioned above, worst case just buy some A6/S6 ones anyway and give them a go, if they don't work at least we all know then.

As the camber adjustment is in the arms rather using offset bushes, if the bushes aren't up to the job you could replace them with polyurethane.
