Hi all,
Looking to get tte turbos, Wagner intercoolers and water meth installed, apart from mrc, can you guys recommend any other companies?? Just so I can ring and compare quotes. Thanks

Several companies can do the work if that's what you need, but when it comes to VAG tuning, everyone always recommends MRC.

Yes mrc would be my first choice, they have already mapped my car, tried calling them to get a rough quote but they didn't answer.

There's a few places that can do the build as the mechanical work is fairly "simple", if time consuming and expensive, but the mapping which brings it all together really needs to be at MRC just due to experience and complexity.

Of the 3 UK based companies I know who've built 900+ cars so far, there's been MRC (Doug), Unit20 (Grizz) and REPerformance (Ricky Elder) and all 3 companies get mapped at MRC. There maybe more companies doing the practical work but those are the ones I know of.

As for cost - back in 2015 it was anywhere from £18k to £25k+ depending on what parts you buy i.e. an uprated intercooler setup could cost between £1k and £4k depending on makes. I doubt it's much different now.
