Post by Rs jonka » Tue Feb 09, 2021 7:58 pm

Hi all
Is anyone on here running 11j rims ,or is that way to big looking at getting rohana rc7 with a deep concave they do a 10j rim ,but thinking the wheel would have a much deeper concave. Thanks

285 section tyres work best on 10J rims, and 11J's need at least 305's. I think you'd be pushing your luck there.

Low profile tyres have less latitude to miss-matching the wheel width than taller profiles. General rule of thumb is the tyre should be one inch wider than the wheel.

I tried lots of different wheels & tyres on lots of different cars over the years, and I was never glad when I tried to make the wheels too big, so I guess I'm saying I'd stick to 10J's.

Widest I'd seen was Classba's amazing 22in alloys at 10.5J x 22 ET42 with 285/25 and it not rubbing even with 4 blokes in the car during some "spirited" driving!
