Bumper mounting nuts - part number

Post by Doug_RS6 » Sat Jun 27, 2020 2:11 pm

I've misplaced the two nuts that secure the front bumper to the wing. I've used normal nuts but they don't fit very well during to the funny shape of the original nuts. Anyone know where I can get some replacements?

They seem to be a favourite for people to lose - the r/h one was missing from my car. Because I started on the right side I wasn't certain how to find the one on the left side - or even if there was one until I couldn't get the bumper off. Awkward things to fit as well, I can't remember how many times I've had to pull the bumper off again to recover one of the nuts from on top of an inter cooler.

Yes. Lost one last time I had the bumper off and lost the other this time. Standard nuts dont pull the bumper tight to the wing as I've discovered. It's a terrible way to mount a bumper to be honest. Needlessly awkward.
