Hi all,
I live in Texas, USA. I have been a huge Audi fan and owned many Audi's from A4, Allroad, S8's, RS4 to R8. I recently found the 1 of 1 legally imported 09 RS6 for sale from a dealership in California. The c6 rs6 is the avant that I ultimately want to own. Unfortunately Audi has never brought c6 rs6 to the States so I am very concern about having the car serviced or repaired. In addition, I could not get in touch with the previous owner because the current dealership bought this car through an estate sale after the owner passed away. Any advice before I pull the trigger guys?

Check for oil leaks.
Check coolant pipes condition- if LHD could be nearside RHD are offside.
To rectify it can be labour intensive. Both can be remedied with engine in but id take it out and you can do a list of things and have 5+ years of hassle free motoring.
Top arms usually are worn out as most are 10 years plus
Propshaft bearing can be a weak link. However any decent transmission Shop can do replacement
Wheel bearings can get noisy
Gearbox oil needs changing at 20k intervals

Its a pretty reliable car. Most of the things above are what id consider normal wear and tear.

A Tune really wakes these up and 700+hp is achievable reliably.

C6Dia,
Thank you for your advice. Much appreciated. I'll have the car ppi'ed beforehand. I also know a good Audi independent Shop which can address these items. I'm only worried that they don't have the tool to diagnose the cpu problem(s).
