When someone claims a cooler is rated for a particular power I take it with a pinch of salt, even if comes from Garrett or Bell. Different engines making the same power have different cooling requirements.
I hope your builder is going to use big water pipes - 3/4" is the norm, but not really enough for big power, and the pumps are important. Lots of people use low pressure Johnson, Bosch, Meziere or DaviesCraig pumps, but they really don't cut it.
I can't wait to see how this is going to pan out. I'm looking forwards to those exhaust manifolds! So many questions.

Wow - did you find anyone willing to take that on?We’ve looked at using the 8 speed from the c7 but I’m not sure I want to spend any more money. We set a budget and so far we’ve stuck to it
Would be doing it in house if we were but we aren’t bothering. Regarding the C7 box, would that actually be feasible with the front driveshafts lining up to a C6? I know that the C6 box didn't fit the older C5 for that reason so I wonder if the C7 box has the same issue with the C6's engine longer block vs C7 engine block?
