TPMS sensors

Bought some of ebay, fitted a few weeks ago.

Not worked, and have been back and forward by email with the company coming up with all sorts of reasons as to why...

Have now done several "resets" to try get them working. Drive several minutes then "TPMS" warning appears

Car shows the tyres as "green" on the display, but not showing any readings.

Once, for a few brief seconds I noticed front left tyre showing a reading once.

Now, company say i need to get an OBD to "initialise" them, even though advertised as "pre-coded"

Any ideas?

I'm in Colchester if anyone has an OBD handy if that's all that's needed?

TIA

You can initialize them within the menu, shouldn't need to with VCDS, they should have already been coded ready to use. Were they dirt cheap?

Yes, I know that, as I said I have done it several times.

As far as I know you can't do anything but read them with VCDS (I have one), I have been told needs an OBD for sensors?

They were from a company that has sold many on ebay. seemed good feedback.

oh right ok, not sure then sorry! Could just be a dodgy set then?? Annoying to have to take the tyres off though to replace them each time!!

I've never looked into the TPMS on VCDS any further than checking them as you say.

I got a new set from TPS when I bought new wheels, they synced up without an issue, don't even think I needed to initialise them but can't recall
