Hi all.
I recently upgraded from a S6 C6 to the RS and am absolutely loving the car.
It has a few faults that need rectifying the most pressing being the headlight control module J197.
From searching on the forum I have checked the connectors on both sensors and they seem ok.
Have cleared the fault code and it has returned so am going to change the module.
So can anybody help me out with the part numbers for the module and the sensors? I have searched for them without any joy.

Front level sensor is listed as 4F0 941 285 F and that's the number that appears on my sensor bracket.
Rear level sensor is listed as 4F0 616 571 K.

Could see part of the number on the rear sensor but none of the front number and internet searches were fruitless

I think that website is going to be extremely helpful over the next few months whilst I iron out the few niggles on the car...
A simple one I thought I had tackled was the rear screen washer being blocked. Unblocked the nozzles and worked fine- until I opened the tailgate and water was pissing out of any exit on the trim- think the pump may well be leaking! Still that’s tomorrow’s job.

Mine has this fault intermittently, not yet got round to looking at it.
I have always assumed the sensor is simply a variable resistor; if you have it removed stick a multimeter to the pins and see if adjusting the lever adjusts the resistance...

The front sensor is one nut on the suspension arm and one bolt on the top of the subframe. You can get to them no problem after removing a road wheel - it might be possible without doing that if you've got a lift.
