Rs6 with ceramics (wheels size diameter)

Post by ShazRS6 » Mon Jun 10, 2019 2:29 pm

Guys looking to purchase a rs6 with ceramics fitted

Wanted to know if the wheels I have sitting in my garage will for the rs6

Anyone here can tell me what the overall diameter is from edge to edge on discs/calipers?

So I can see if the wheels will fit over the brakes

I’ve measured up the wheel and it measures a just under 450mm

The front discs measure 420mm, so that leaves just 15mm for the caliper, which seems a bit slim.

What diameter, width and offset are the wheels?

20” Rohana alloys
11j
Will have to check offset

I don’t see the calipers being more than 30mm
If the discs are 420mm
Let’s say calipers are 20mm

Still 10mm left to play
I think it should be ok

Unless anyone else here has the ceramic brakes option and can measure edge to edge for me just to be 💯

I just had to chuckle here, those calipers are shrinking so in your head they fit ...
I recommend measuring someones

Depending on wheel options the standard C6 offset for the 9.5J 20" rims is ET36 for both steel and ceramic disc versions; for the 9J 20" its ET38
