My car is coming up to 10y now where i know for the fact that some parts are past their prime.
I was wondering whether upgrade to KWE's is a "worthy upgrade"?

Got them on mine but with the KWE intercoolers as well so I'm not sure about OEM fitment issues, however from my experience so far they're much thicker/stiffer than OEM so they're better able to resist any boost drops that you *may/may-not* get from the OEM pipes expanding slightly under boost pressure (maybe an issue, may not be an issue - depends on boost level). Additionally the pipes are lined to protect them from oil causing damage to the rubber so, along with the extra thickness, they should lest longer than OEM pipes but the OEM may last for decades anyway.
So I got mine for "peace of mind" over the durability rather than for any performance benefit, which would be so small as to be almost zero anyway, so I suppose "worth it" is probably 50/50 at best. I mean it can't hurt to fit them but vs the cost - difficult to say.

cheers Ian... other than KWE's, are there any other brands or part suppliers that do these silicone pipes for RS C6's?
