That's amazing. What's the spec? Are you keeping the B5?

Unfortunately, this product is no longer available
Anybody notice that TTE are no longer offering any RS6 C6 upgrades?

Does that mean you haven't given up on the TTE 1000's then?

That's more like it!

Sounds like TTE & MRC have been burning the midnight oil.

Do you know what they've done to make such an improvement?

Have you got any power & torque curves? I hope they still spool reasonably early.

I notice that TTE1000 is back on the website.

My rule of thumb for the best tuned engines is:
100 Nm per litre per bar
I got that wrong. 100Nm/l/bar is a typical good figure, but it's not a ceiling.

Because the best naturally aspirated engines make 103Nm/litre on one atmosphere , I assumed turbo engines couldn't scale that with boost - only get close. Not true.

Turbo boost is measured in the inlet manifold, but NA engines have an inlet depression at full load, so they don't have 1 bar in the manifold. Therefore turbo engines can go over 103Nm, though only with uncompromised tuning. That typically requires tubular exhaust manifolds, like tuned RS4, R8 TT, GTR etc, but the R7 and RS3 seem to be very good as well.

The best turbo engines get 110Nm, and the state of the art is around 116-117Nm, which could be a Golf or a drag racer, it doesn't matter, it's an intrinsic figure of merit. It's like BMEP, the sort of thing that M3's and Ferraris are good at.

I don't think the RS6 C6 has enough space for fancy manifolds, not like the B5 or C6, so has to set it's sights a bit lower, like 95Nm. But that's still a lot.

We done nothing. Just been waiting for the issues on the car to be fixed since supplying the TTE1000 many months ago.

There must be some kind of problem with TTE1000+ since there are no results yet and they were saying (on another forum) that there are few cars that will be tuned shortly - this was in March.
Never been a TTE turbo issue. Both those cars making good numbers on stock IC now (970 other 1005)

Sometimes it takes a while to get the results and this is far from over...

Those are great great results for stock ICs.

For a stock car in good order, what would be the required mods to achieve 1kbhp on 99RON?

Thanks, Nick

Power is capped I'm told for now. 1014 HP/ 1183Nm

Full torque at 3k rpm approx (NO WMI)

Would it need forged pistons and rods to take it any further?

Those are impressive curves - they look like stock, just lifted up a lot.
