….. I’m hoping the new turbos do 1050+ps on 99 and upwards of 1150 on race. I think the curve will move slightly to the right as it’s a bigger turbine wheel, I’m hoping we don’t lose too much spool as the 850’s were incredible in that sense. Will post all findings good and bad throughout next week Image

That’s a wrap on 99
Bingo!
1079bhp@6900 & 1270Nm@3100 - those aren't dyno results - they're telephone numbers.
That's a truck and a racing car in the same engine, never seen anything like it, wish I could see the smile on your face!
Nick

We’ve had to do more work than we thought. We Upgraded low pressure fuel system with an additional in tank pump. The new custom intercoolers with bigger core provided by marston to our specs is working a treat also mate

I have no idea mate. The cars finished now, after looking at all the data the cars been dialled back to 1050ps and 1200nms. I feel that’s the sweet spot. Given the fact the cars soon to be for sale I didn’t want to push it any further. Hopefully a few people on here have enjoyed what I’ve shared, I’ll be posting a for sale thread soon. Car will be for sale for circa 45k it’s a 43k mile car with FASH plus around 80k spent on it at mrc in my ownership

No mate I’ll collect it this week. Just waiting on the new carbon fibre seats being installed. Have another project waiting to start, so will be selling the c6 and c7 I think

Would they be the wingbacks in carbon or a set of actual buckets?

Surprised you're selling up so soon after all the effort, do you think if the car drives well enough that you might hold onto it or is the sale definite?

I'm actually really looking forward to having mine done now

Sorry actual aftermarket bucket seats I’ve had made, I went for the carbon instead of the Kevlar option that was available. The c6 seats aren’t great when pushing on that’s all. With regards to the car it’s 110% for sale it was always going to be, I’m wanting to build a big HP gen 2 r8 twin turbo. Considering rsq8 also so c6,c7 and widebody b5 will all be for sale

Awesome! I hope you have an easier time with tuning the R8 than the C6 seems to have been

And I'm sure the cars won't sit for too long

Collected the car the other day. IT WILL NOT BE FOR SALE! It’s absolutely epic, so hard to describe the way it delivers the power

Never ending relentless torque. Minimal lag if any, it always feels so responsive. There’s a little spike between 3 and 4.5k revs that leaves you feeling a little sick. It’s absolutely epic, easily the best car I’ve owned. Sounds absolutely unbelievable
