TPMS taken out by Brick!

Ran over a brick start of this week. Van in front kicked it up and sent it spinning over the road I tried to dodge it but front left ran straight over it. Hell of a lump. Hell of a thud.
TPMS went off. Checked on VCDS Mobile, always have it to hand, and sure as <beep> keep losing signal from that sensor. If i reinitialise they work for 5 mins then off it goes.
So was it the brick? Is it the sensors battery? Just a coincidence?
My money is on the former
