Front number plate placement

Wondering if anyone has something other than the standard front plate position?

Just shorten the standard plinth, anything else looks poop

Would rather run without but I'm well aware it will take about 5mins till I'm pulled over.

With regard to shortening the plinth. How is this Actually done? Any pics of one completed..?
