Fitting lowering springs
Fitting lowering springs
Is it possible to fit lowering springs without opening the DRC? I'm planning to do this but only if it's possible without disturbing it.

From what I've seen of the suspension, the rears you can do. Don't know about the fronts but I'd say it'd be awkward.

Hmm. I found another thread saying it was possible. I don't have facilities to recharge it or even safely open it. To be honest I was having a fight getting the pinch bolt out. It moves but doesnt want to come out. My usual garage isnt keen on taking he job on.

Mine was done without disconnecting the DRC by Unit20

I wish there was someone closer to me to do it. No one seems to want to touch it here.
Re: Fitting lowering springs
I've got 2 snapped rear springs on mine that has made it look lowered and very nice! ha ha! Just been quoted £300 labour to replace them and then to an alignment, sounds expensive to me, but I don't have a spring compressor to do the rears on this car. Plus the new springs are flipping beefy and solid!!!
I did think that was quite expensive to only do the rears though?
