The hidden menu needs to be enabled through Vagcom from what I gather, tried it myself earlier to no avail!

VCDS: 2G Hidden menu enable;
  • Connect with module 07 – Control Head.
  • Choose procedure 10 – Adaptation.
  • Choose Channel 8.
  • Read stored value. By default it should be 0.
  • Change value to 1 and save it.
  • Read stored value. Now it should be 1.
  • Exit.
Reset MMI;
Locate buttons:
  • SETUP button
  • big control knob
  • upper-right soft button
Press and hold those buttons at the same time.
After two seconds release buttons.
Audi MMI screen will go black for few seconds and system will reboot.

Then To view Hidden Menu;
  • Press and hold together button: SETUP & CAR (or MENU & CAR).

I will warn you - once you have enabled your oil level feature and used it and compared it to dipstick measuring you wont exactly be blown away with its accuracy

That bad? I don't think I'll even bother with it, was just curious about the hidden menu.

I normally have my tyre pressure displayed or else have the display turned off.

I can't seem to find where to change the setting to 5 on mine. Its a 2008 model with 2G? I've enabled the oil level in VCDS but it is now greyed out, and the 2G MMI isn't the same menu wise as the YouTube vide? Any ideas? I'm now in the same boat as the OP.

Tried enabling on my car but its greyed out as well. I still have the dipstick but I'm guessing the 4F only has a low oil switch as oppose to a level sensor
