Hi all

A couple of times lately (as I’m actually using the car for a change - although not too much as don’t wanna hit the big 40 (k miles) just yet 🤪), my drivers door hasn’t unlocked when I’ve pressed the unlock button on the zapper! The key then unlocks it fine so I’m guessing that it’s just ‘sticking’?

Anyone else had this? Any advice?

Hi,

I don't know if the C6 generation suffers from the same problem as the B5 and C5 Passat and A6 generation respectively do, but the soldered connections on the PCB in the door lock actuator have a tendency to crack eventually causing the lock to work intermittently or just completely fail.

But at sub 40k miles, I don't know if this would have happened yet.
