Maxton styling bits for RS6?

Post by Ceveman73 » Mon May 21, 2018 9:31 am

I’ve been looking at the Maxton styling options for the RS6. Does anyone have experience of these? I particularly like the look of the side skirt extensions, and the front lips. Does anyone know which of their front lips sticks out the most, and whether the lips replace the OEM lip, or sit underneath it? What is the fitment like?

Many thanks,

Mart.

I have just fitted these up, fair job TBH as i wanted to set them up with factory type fastners and no extra holes. the front lip can be fastened by removing the stock black lip and using it as a drilling guide for the supplied hardware. The side skirts however i had to drill quite a few holes in the plastic OEM skirts and used nutserts with the same torx type bolts as factory.

Overall im very happy with the quality. Im thinking of having them reproduced in real carbon though.

Pics are not my car as mine as its not handy atm.

Do you have a link to the front splitter?

I'd be interested in getting them in carbon as my plan was to get them carbon wrapped anyway, along with the rear diffuser. Please let me know how you get on with your enquiries and perhaps a batch can be made to keep costs down?

Thanks.

Hows the quality? Is it flexible? I have been running with a fiberglass unit which I have ripped apart twice.......
