So I just picked my car up from The Phirm.

They had it for a week while I was in America.

Got this out



New one installed



Along with a new water pump drive as the edges of the hex were worn on both ends, something to look out for, it could have gone back in but Paul wasn’t happy with it so it was changed.











Brand new water pump installed too as there is an oil seal inside that, always best to change despite the cost, nearly £330 (from memory)



I also had a new radiator as mine had a tiny weep

They do the whole thing with the engine in the car, can do it as a drive in drive out job in 2 days. Using all genuine Audi parts. Total job comes in at around £2250.

The Phirm will also do the coolant pipes with the engine in, not a cut and shut job, they replace the entire coolant pipes with Audi genuine items for around £750.

I’ve been using them for nearly 15 years! They do all our VAG stuff for the business aswell.

Also just had this done by the Phirm and can also recommend , had coolant lines and oil leak done plus a new oil cooler and oil lines. all done engine in
