Ultra rare RS6 buckets on flebay

Thought you guys might like these though a bit rich.

I had the same seats in my old car and they transformed the look and the driving experience of the barge :)

They’ve been up for sale for over a year mate and are not selling. It’s the price, you can be patient and find them less than half the price and re trim them for much less!

Oh really didn't know they were for sale that long.

Have you seen used original RS6 buckets for sale often or ever? You're talking about retrimming some naff RS4's etc aren't you....... :)

So hard to find original used RS6 buckets. I was lucky to be able to buy a mint pair from a mate for 2500 years ago.

To be fair, I recon he will take 4k for them and that's not bad for a new pair.

I’d buy them if they were more reasonable money, my biggest problem is my car has silver leather so they'd have to be trimmed. The thought of buying mint set and throwing away the leather which hes asking a premium for is hard for a yorkshireman

You could retirm the rest of your car to black :biggrin3:

Apparently RS4 and RS6 seats are identical apart from the logo. Same part numbers so it’s better to buy RS4 seats and retrim them after all.

I wouldn't pay £5k for some seats from someone who can't even rotate photos or clean the seats properly before taking the pics!!

Are you sure the part numbers are the same because I know for a fact that the seat back and the base pattern ( curve stitching on the RS6 and straight on the RS4) on the RS6 differs to the RS4's. The RS6 back seats have the same curve pattern.

I think the seats are all the same but the stitching on leather is obviously different. So if I was after a set for an RS6 I'd buy a cheap set of RS4 ones and have them retrimmed.

The info came from a friend that’s bought and sold a few sets. Looks like it’s just a different leather cover Depending on the model. Think i’ll look for a cheap set to retrim, new doesn’t make any sense.

Not sure the seat above at £5k are genuine RS6. They are folding seats if you look at the harness holes. Possibly modified RS5 folding seats?

Yup, because i’ve bought a set of RS5 buckets which are identical to the “genuine” ones still listed on eBay. Noticed the levers for tilt in the harness holes. Mine will be trimmed silver with RS6 logo and possibly change the harness hole plastic for genuine RS6 with no levers
