Eurocar parts have Pagid discs in stock and until close of play today have a discount online. I collected a car set yesterday for just over 800 quid.

With the sale50 code they are under £430 for the pair :)

I picked up some front and rear discs on a 50% flash sale the other day so well worth just keeping them in stock when the discounts come up. Otherwise inevitably when I next need to do the discs they will be sold out and it'll be way more expensive to sort out.

As my fronts are at the wear limit and (as I mentioned a few days back) there's what looks suspiciously like some cracks in the rears I was looking at having to go the AP route earlier than I'd planned. A heads up from Douglas96 about the sale code made it £819.48 for a car set which was none to far adrift from the price I'd worked out for a front set of AP discs.
I've not let it slip to the other half yet but when I collected the discs I ordered a set of face lift rear lights on the same discount code too.

Makes a massive difference to the cost of getting it all sorted! Funnily enough - I did the same thing with the rear lights as well ;) Mainly because one of my outers went dull so just replaced the lot. I do wonder how these companies stay in business with these discount codes though - didn't think they'd such big margin in these discs.

What it should make you wonder about is how much they're making on full price items. In my business the retail>cost ratio for full price is 3>1.

Which is the problem I now have.....

I can't find Front Discs anywhere at the moment for less than £600.

EuroCarParts can't shed any light on when they might get some more in....

Any ideas?

This is the problem. When they sell out they seem to have no clue on when they'll next come in. I found my previous discs on eBay but they still weren't that cheap by comparison.

I am just about to upgrade my front discs and the 'old' ones are really good, not heavily used, barely worn and run nice and true, the car is new to me hence the upgrade. please let me know if these will be of interest. i will carefully remove, measure and pack before mailing.

thanks

Just an update....

Miraculously I've just picked up some front discs from Eurocarparts for £500 with the discount code on the day. I do wonder whether, if enough people try and order parts, the system is clever enough to then attempt to get, what would otherwise be an out of stock item, back into stock?

I also then got some Ferrodo Pads from JDL Brakes for just over £200. Amazingly, the discount code "Evora" still works!
