Re: spark plugs
I was just wondering if the expensive denso ones would last longer

Re: spark plugs
well I have fitted the spark plugs over the xmas break and cannot see why audi would want to charge £787. I took my time and in all it took about 3 hrs including cleaning and re oiling the itg filters the worst two plugs are the ones near the bulkhead as you have to remove a few electric connectors etc and turn the coils to get them out .
I would recommend anyone doing the job but do it on a summers day

Re: spark plugs
we use (modified stage 2 plus);
DENSO IK01-24
or NGK
R7434-8
Both have the better electrode design, which reduces the chance of det damage and is a few heat ranges cooler.
STD setups or stage one:
DENSO IK01-22
or NGK
R7434-7
Better tip design but only one heat range cooler.
@huntersmob the denso plugs are of better build and quality generally as for life span i cant say.
