God save the King!
Hello from Sweden/Philippines. My IKEA geschwindigkeitwagen! (766 hp / 571 kW / 1051 Nm), MRC'd, 22" forged, 'ramix, Milltek, ILR carbon bits, MTM adjustable springs.
Re: C6 still KING
Pretty good but you could knock another .25 of a second off as those gear changes sound much slower than compared to mine, Trups etc with our uprated GB's so I wonder if the GB was running too hot, as that usually lengthens the changes, because I can't imagine it still being a stock box.

Box sounded healthy here:

Was dynoed back in Aug with these figures, not sure if theyve upped the tune since then

Re: C6 still KING
Yeah, hot gearbox in the first video then as the practice sounds fine. So it should be able to go faster than 9.935 then if they look after the GB cooling as the heat build up will either have been from too many runs to close together, broken undertray scoops not diverting air (as per mine) or a dirty cooler - my guess is the run number.

Re: C6 still KING
Saying that Ian, there are a lot of cars in Europe that are running 900 but still running the stock box?? unsure if they know there is a upgrade or not.
I drove mine out last week and if you can hit upshift just at the right time you can get through the gears on full throttle without the TC kicking in.

Re: C6 still KING
IIRC the Madness Motorsport C6 (that bright orange one) was running 930-950hp on a stock box but they don't seem to last that long (it popped 2 boxes IIRC) when dragged, which seems to be the killer (other than getting airborne on a B road
).
