RS6 C6 2008 - OEM part number for headlights

Post by Pgj0hns0n » Mon Oct 09, 2017 12:53 pm

All

I’m considering replacing both my head lights as they at in a poor state.

So I order the right lights, does anyone have the part numbers?

Also, is it a bumper off job to fit them?

Thanks
PJ

I had one changed by QST - if I recall, it IS a bumper off (I may be wrong)...and very expensive!

Yeap, bumper off to fit/remove them but they are extremely expensive, IIRC they are around £1000 each for new ones or £300-ish for 2nd hand!!!

RH Light - 4F0941030CK (or 4F0941030FB as the CK number may not be available now)

However, with the huge cost I'd go into Audi with your chassis number instead (found on the left side of the windscreen) just to make 100% sure you get the right ones, just in case the website I linked below is wrong.

I would get in touch with Trups, when he was working on upgrading the lens I am sure he mentioned that he had found a source for new front glass, best to check with him!

At the time I got my local guy to refinish the headlights while they were off the car once Trups had done his magic, the before image isn't great but they still look good today;

Trups, the lens is in an awful state and strangely looks like there’s some discolouration on the inside. If the lens can be replaced, result!

If there’s a way to refurbish them I’m all ears!

HI.

I can supply brand new lens, Clean the insides down, I can also do a few mods inside to get the headlights performing 20 times better than what they do as the projectors in them are not great. Before I would put a new projector in the fog light housing, now I can also change out the OEM projector fully to have a better one in there if you wanted the untouched look,

If any of the chrome has peeled from moisture inside then there is no saving that I'm afraid, I have seen it before.

I would need the headlights sent into to me for the work to be carried out or the car can be left and I can do a drive in/ drive out service.

Thanks
