Best spacer size c6
Best spacer size c6
I would like the wheels to come out a bit further to get a better stance. I don't want them to be poking out past the arches however. The car has 20" wheels and ceramics. Would 8mm all round give the desired effect ?
Any potential issues with the setup I have and spacers ?
Cheers

Re: Best spacer size c6
I gone for 10mm on the front and 12mm on the rear - and 20mm drop all round on 20” rims.
would rather have 21”

I've got 30mm drop i believe after installing H&R springs and I'd like to install some spacers too with my 20"s with ceramics and idea what's the max I can go without destroying my tyres?

Re: Best spacer size c6
Mines lowered 45mm and catches at the rear and on full lock at the front with no spacers, factory 20's
Re: Best spacer size c6
10mm all round on standard ride height 20" rims.
It will catch on the very odd occasion if the car has 3 or more people in it.

Re: Best spacer size c6
That is useful thanks. I have opted for 8mm. Hopefully will work and give the wider look I am hoping for.
Re: Best spacer size c6
resurrecting this thread ... any issues if I wanted to do just the rear end (mainly thinking from 4x4 point of view/differentials etc)?
Cheers.

Re: Best spacer size c6
Check how deep the lip on the hub is. If it's more than 8mm. You'll have issues with hubcebtric spacers. I'm trying 15mm and H&R springs. Will post later once fitted. Measuments say it should be fine.
Re: Best spacer size c6
hey Doug,
so with 15mm drop with H&R springs? are you planning to use any spacers?

I'm trying 15mm spacers as thats the smallest I can get to fit over the hub.
Re: Best spacer size c6
Cheers... i'm getting my Maxton kit next week and spacers are next on my agenda (with 12-15mm drop).

Re: Best spacer size c6
You can fit smaller than 15mm spacers as long as they don't have a hubcentric lip. I think the absolute ideal would be around 13mm rear and 10mm front. Depends on tyre choice also. I'm planning to fit my springs this week/weekend. Spacers are currently on though.
Re: Best spacer size c6
Any suggestions where to source spacers from (that fit C6 RS's)?
