I'm pushing 60 and mine is adds around £600 to my personal fleet policy but that's down to a number of factors, the other cars, it's not garaged and I'm still suffering from some points collected due to a combination of cruise control @50 and a 40 limit sign I didn't see in the police state otherwise known as Leicestershire.

Fully comp, Fast fleet policy, alarmed garage, good postcode, good job, etc.

So £550 for a 25 Yr old with a claim isn't cheap?

Bloody hell. I was driving a 1.8 Clio 16v back in 2001 (@ 22) and my insurance was more than yours.

The E is only £660 its all about where you live what you do and shopping around with the unusual insurers like Flux, Sky and green light play them off each other and also cool vintage stuff can be good too i have a mate with a capri 2.8i it costs him £500 to insure he has points and i think a claim so it can be done.
