Hi chaps,
I'm after buying a roof box for my RS6. I'm heading off to the alps and need a box for my snowboard. Now I know the 56Nord looks amazing but yet to become available to buy and to be honest Im heading towards the Thule dynamic. I can't find any photos of RS6's with a top box. Anyone got any pics?

After using the search function it looks like roof boxes and RS6's don't usually go together with the owners on this site as only 1 other user posted a few pictures, so I can see why this thread is a little quiet

as I said above, I need to take my snowboard. Yes I could lay the seat down but the have to leave one of the kids at home. Don't think that would go down well.

Resurrecting this thread somewhat as i'm on the verge of adding the r/box as part of our summer trip to the Adriatic.
Now, albeit it will be on one way only

, i was wondering what speeds I should be safe with it? i.e. is up to 100mph tolerable assuming no winds etc.
ps. i have Kamei Delpin r/box.
Cheers guys.

i have the Thule aero bars fitted (as i killed the last lot due to bike carrier and a car park height barrier) bars alone i would say you are fine at any speed as I have frequently seen 160mph and forgotten they were on. its just what you attach to them really. the Thule new bike carrier are quite happy above their rated speed, 120mph is ok although the bikes get a proper wobble on and fuel consumption gets even worse obviously.
I reckon roof box & bike carrier combo ontop is the next step. there isnt much boot space left when you have a berghaus 6air xl tent in the back, sleeping gear for 4 and the two kids in the back. this last weekends trip, apart from the rain nailing it down all weekend, resulted in the missus bring her 535d along as a supply car.
will chuck some piccies up once ive finished dicking about with roof arrangements.
