Custom exhaust

Hi guys
I'm looking for a bit of advice on what to go for regarding a custom exhaust that I want making, I've got the car booked in at Tony Banks in Leeds for august.

He has quoted for a 2 1/2" cat back straight through system with x pipe and will build to whatever I want regards noise level.
I have in mind to get MRC to do a stage 2 remap in the near future but is 2 1/2" going to be big enough for 750ish bhp.

Already got BMC air filters fitted.

Thanks for any input

You need cat bypass pipes and i'd personally say go resonated but as its custom you can decide that for yourself on the day.

"Bypass pipes" is that the same as removing the cats ?

Already told him I don't want it too loud and droney but would like a nice "growl" under load

AAS in Newcastle upon tyne - their cat back system is good for 740 (the latter tuning power via MRC), retains the std cat's

Fourie fabrications is the man for the job 👍🏻 He made the downpipes on my car and he's knocking up a rear section for me also

I second Fourie Fabrication. Stuart remedied my problem with my exhaust about 4 weeks back and I'll be going back to do some more mods, you're in safe hands with the knowledge he worked for MRC so he's got tonnes of experience with the RS and super sport cars.

Yes, you need cats removing for 740bhp. Don't get too hung up on bhp, MRC map to a gearbox torque limit, about 1060nm.

I'm thinking along the lines off just removing the secondary cats, don't want to go down the route of changing the down pipes. Trying to stick to a tight budget as there are other things I want to do with the car.
E.g. Wheels & tyres, wrapping and of coarse an MRC remap.

If I could only get that last number right on the lottery :biggrin3: :biggrin3:

Thanks for the advice and opinions please keep them coming :beerchug:

Stage 2 is just secondary cats, that what i meant. All cats removed is 800bhp give or take. I went with a full supersprint system as its tuned to the car, must admit i'm feeling a need for downpipes :FIREdevil:

Had a chat with David on Saturday, taking secondary cats off so will be ready for a stage 2 map as soon as I can get it booked in at MRC
