HI, I've been in the market for a C6 RS6 for a while and over the weekend I found one that I'm ready to put a deposit on except for one curious fact. I trawled through the car's MMI but it does not have a suspension setting that allows for changing between comfort, dynamic and sport modes. Seller is the second owner and was not even aware the shock settings can be changed. He did a bit of probing with the dealer and provided me with the following specs for the car with particular emphasis on the 2MS code (sports suspension with variable shock absorption):-

The dealer offered no explanation over the phone either. The car is located in Hong Kong. I've searched all over the net and couldn't find a reference to a DRC equipped car that does not have MMI controlled shock adjustment. I thought this is a standard feature on all C6 RS6?
I haven't had the chance to put it on a hoist yet but owner assured me the car is fully stock with the exception of the 21" wheels. Grateful if someone can shed some light on what suspension setup this car might have! Thanks in advance!

C6 RS6 with non adjustable DRC?
C6 RS6 with non adjustable DRC?
The only thing I could think of is maybe the first owner decided to go with aftermarket shocks and deleted the MMI option for the adjustment but as far as I am aware it's standard on all Rs6 C6.

Re: C6 RS6 with non adjustable DRC?
2MS = Standard Sports Suspension
2MC = Sports Suspension Plus with Dynamic Ride Control
2MC was standard in the UK and is adjustable via MMI

In the post I've linked to by IanH755 he explains that the DRC ("Sports Suspension Plus") was standard for the UK market, however as the one you are looking at is in Hong Kong, it will most likely not have been specced up when it was built or may not have been available in that market.

Re: C6 RS6 with non adjustable DRC?
Many thanks for all your responses. That's a shame as the car is real nice with service history and really low kms (48000 kms). I already have a C5 RS6 plus in my garage with pretty harsh ride on B roads and is looking for a more compliant ride.
