Has anyone done this mod? Tips? Is it difficult?

I've done it to my C7. Not hard, just need to remove tailgate trim, pull wiper off motor, remove motor from tailgate, block washer pipe, block hole in the glass.
You will need a special tool to make removal of the wiper arm from the motor easier but can be bodged with some other household tools to prise the arm off the motor. Think I might have used pump pliers.

How do you get the interior trim off? I undid the 6 screws and started to pop the clips but it still seemed solidly attached.

The clips at the top of the lower trim are sods to release - I had to get my hand between the trin panel and the tailgate then use a long lever to prise them free.

I've found out how but not tried. I had all the screws out but didn't want to break anything. It's now pissing with rain here so can't do it today.
