How to modify an Rs6 ?

Post by Jules » Wed Apr 05, 2017 9:32 am

Right these cars are totally new to me and I'm researching like crazy, for those that don't know me I modify cars
as a hobby/obsession

It would be great to have a helping hand so I can crack on and choose from the options out there.
Ive seen people mention re c7 rs6 gearknob upgrade, different rear lights with a white strip, roof spoilers and mtm diffusers
etc etc.

If people wouldn't mind showing pics of these mods and where they can be located and what's involved that would be
a massive help.

I also want to fit h+r arbs so wondered the best place to get hold of these would be.

Many thanks
Jules

I assume the gear knob mod is to swap the existing one for one from a C7 that looks like this:

That does look damn good, I wonder if its a straight swap and if its just the knob or the gaitor also ?

Jules asking how to modify a car?! Isn't that like Gordon Ramsey asking how to cook a fucken soufflé?
No matter where you go, there you are.

Richard at Venom supplied mine. There not a direct fit, you need to grind the front casing to clear the collar which locates the bush. Spacers on the ends of the front bar to stop it stressing the C links.

At the rear you need to space the bar 6mm backward if you lower it
