My New RS6 Project

Ok so last weekend I collected my RS6.
Its been really hard deciding which one to go for but I finally picked one that was not actually up for sale anywhere but
was just mentioned in passing and that was mentioned to me and next thing id bought it without even seeing or driving it.
The reason for this is MRC have worked on the car for years and all the work that these things seem to fail on had been done
and even serviced only a few weeks ago.
The biggest selling point that easily clinched it was that it had full ceramics from factory, great history and only 2 owners
from new.
Its been someones daily for a few years so its not perfect and needs a damn good detail and one of the front calipers
seemed to be sticking a little.
I collected the car and drove it for maybe 50 minutes and just wow what a machine but unfortunately I then handed the
keys to mrc for them to remove all the brakes so I can send them to my caliper people for a full overhaul and for Stuart
to start building me a full on custom exhaust.
I want serious noise to go with the power,as its not my daily just my weekend toy.
Its currently 730bhp and 1050nm.
I'm not a fan of the colour but maybe after a nice detail I will like it a little more, but i will also go optics black on it.
Here it is at MRC with my black b7 I was about to sell and also on the right my old supercharged b7 RS4

Congrats on the new car mate sounds like you've acquired a good honest car. The ceramic calipers I believe were made by Alcon and you can get the refurb kit from them (I think) there are a few posts on here which discuss this.
Looking forward to what you going to do to her!

Thanks buddy, and yes exactly that.
Ive already been in contact with my brake caliper people and an engineering company I know who are
making me new pistons today at a much better rate and a different quality metal to hopefully stop this happening again.

Looking forward to seeing where you go with this project! Considered JCWF for the exhaust? If you want big noise, you won't be disappointed.
For the interest of other forum members - stick some pics up of your TT build - go on!

They do need a bit of silencing on them IMO, there's a green wrapped one with a straight through system and at low speed when I've seen it, sounds terrible. blowy/farty down a drainpipe noise. It may sound nice at full throttle?

Yes i only hear good things re JCWF but i normally use emp performance but this time Stuart
from MRC will be building it, I'm thinking straight through, with just 2 small back boxes and
then using the oem black c7 rs6 tailpipes.
I don't really care how loud it is aslong as the note of the exhaust sounds good, we was going
to go straight through totally but as Lee and Doug have mentioned it may sound a bit <beep> lol.
Yes defo next week mate i'll post up the widebody tt ive just built
