Both headlights look a complete nightmare to change, so I'm After a "how to" if anyone can help.
I would also like to dry out a bit of condensation as well
Thanks in advance.
Thanks, surly Audi would not develop a car to have major surgery to change a bloody light bulb.rs6_sid wrote:Not done it my self but looking at it will be a bumper removal to take the headlights out and do the bulbs.
Does anyone have a list of all the types of bulbs in the front as I may do all mine whilst I have the front end off
Found this through Google not the search on here, so looks like your on your own herers6_sid wrote:It can be slow depends on the topic ! , yeah a lot of cars are like this even with a lot smaller engines , my old audi s3 you had to go through the arch linings but it was just easier to remove the bumper !
You'd think, but they've got previous :- 1980-91 Ur quattro right hand headlight bulbs - remove fixings from headlight trims and radiator grill, detach right head light trims from radiator grill and wing, remove right headlight.boba fett wrote:rs6_sid wrote:Thanks, surly Audi would not develop a car to have major surgery to change a bloody light bulb.

Of all the C6 RS6'S owners and none has changed a light bulb !!
Well they have and if you would have taken the time to use the forum search options you would have found that I brought this subject up recently and other members had provided ample information as to how to do it.boba fett wrote:WOW - What a dead beat forum.

Despite being the biggest C5-C7 owners website in the UK, with only 20-30 owners being active (daily to weekly) posters in the C6 area, and with the job involving a bumper removal for access, it's probably unsurprising that few have done the job themselves (IIRC User Manual says take it to Audi?) and then gone on to made a specific "how to" as well. However this forum contains a vast amount of knowledge if you search for it.boba fett wrote:WOW - What a dead beat forum.
