£18k for a Cat C Avant on Autotrader.

Post by IanH755 » Mon Dec 26, 2016 9:32 pm

Hi all,

Whilst trawling through some of the AT cars I noticed this and I think it's the 1st one I've seen drop below £20k -

While the mileage is high the body looks to be in good order, I suppose I'm just a little shocked they've started to drop below £20k now, although there was still a 29k mile C5 up for £25k that made me chuckle :D

Buyer Beware
By Jim G on 14 November | PURCHASE NOT VERIFIED
when buying a £3000 car from them they told me the battery needed a good charge as the car had been standing for a while I got home after a thirty mile drive only to discover that the battery was dead, I phoned them up and they told me to get a new battery and they would refund the cost, I got the RAC to replace it, paid them sent off the bill but they refused to pay, Then when within a month the car developed a major fault they refused to honour the 3 month warrantee their web page says they offer. they hung up on me when I tried to contact them. They only answered my calls when I withheld my number, then told me they would get quotes and sort the problem out and get back to me I gave them my number but never got a call. I sent them letters but they refused to acknowledge that they received them I have proof of delivery but that makes no difference to them. I Would like to warn other potential customers do not trust them. They give car dealers a bad name

I think it's amazing that's the price someone wants for a cat C , a car that's had such heavy damage is not much less then some high mile cars . I'd say it only puts the value of a decent car up in comparison

I think that's the one that's on there twice, two listings - 12k and 18k with the 18k seller saying the 12k sale is a scam
