Low oil light coming up but 3/4 up the dip stick ?

Is there a way of setting the oil sensor because it's coming up with the yellow oil min light but it's 3/4 the way up the indicator on the dip stick ? Manny thanks

That's 3/4 up measured as instructed in the manual?

I had this once in the past after an oil change - oil was right in the middle of the range but just topped it up a bit closer to the max line and sorted itself out

Could just be a failing sensor, bit of a pain to replace (bumper off, headlight out) but do-able in an hour or so. The sensor likes on the side of the reservoir at the bottom.
