Start button and advanced key

Hi guys i'm in need of help
Is the start engine button the same button for with and without advanced key equipped cars ?
My 2008 avant has the rectangular button that is cracked and i ordered the phase 2 round aluminum. But i completely forgot that i have the adavanced key so i don't know if i ordered it right.
This is the part number of the button that i ordered: 4F1905217EVUV its a lhd car i live in Switzerland

If you've got the start button then you'll have the Advanced key, your new switch will be fine.

If you've got the start button then you'll have the Advanced key, your new switch will be fine.

I was thinking that the keyless start button had also some kind hardware differences due to the keyless system
Now I understand that if don't have the button you don't have the keyless system
Is this correct?
