bmc filters , for the reason of many people have run then with no issues , the seem to last and are the cheapest if you get them through euro car parts , off the top of my head i think they where £80 just blag the person in store for his best best price

Just to clarify the MRC vs ITG - there's no detectable difference I could find (had both), just a different logo.

I've also changed mine early last year and would recommend the bmc filter, will need to buy the cleaning kit additional to the filter when it comes to the next servicing interval.

I fitted ITG filters when i bought the car 2 years ago
was serviced at MRC recently who reckon they will need changing next service....
I thought these things were for life if cleaned.

The foam gets dry and brittle in the hot engine bay and the filters start to fall apart, which is nice! Only a "paper/cotton" filter is immune but suffer from other issues like oiling etc.

Mine will also need doing next service as they are starting to become very brittle.

Just tried looking on ECP for the BMC ones, but couldn't find.
Would someone post a link, or best place to buy them?
Mine will need changing next service according to MRC
TIA

There you go.
Use the discount code and they'll come in at less than 90 quid.

Thank you
Sadly the discount doesn't apply
My service not due for a few months, so I've logged the part no and will keep an eye out for any sale price prior

Try it. I know the site says that discounts aren't applicable to performance parts but it worked for me - maybe because I ordered some service parts at the same time, but I certainly got the discount on the filters. You can always cancel the order before the final part of the checkout process if it doesn't take the discount code.

Forget it - just tried it. You're right - that code doesn't apply to performance parts. Pity, the one I used a few weeks back did.
