Another TPMS question!

Post by Whitevanman » Wed Oct 26, 2016 7:07 pm

Guys

After 8 years of faultless ownership my TPMS started playing up so after taking some advice I replaced all sensors in my wheels.

I have since been unable to reset any of my tyre information and faulf TPMS malfunction comes up when i start the car, the TPMS I have been told
(Not sure I believe or trust!) by the local stealer is also stopping my distronic cruise control working also. This unit was replaced by them about a year ago after altercation with a badger!

Dealer wants minimum £600 to even look at this ! I will take the car anywhere other than dealer to hopefully sort this prob out anyone got any good contacts or ideas?

Had all new sensors checked today and they are all transmitting?

All tyres new all pressures correct etc etc

Any help welcome guys?

Dealers :audibash:

Try removing the TPMS fuse on the left hand side dash fuse box. That will reset the module.
Otherwise you will need Vagcom to check for fault codes.
