Not really in the same league unfortunately  I've bought a Challenege Edition Mini as a daily which I'm actually enjoying quite a lot. It's not anywhere near as special as the RS6 but it does have character, great interior spec, fun to drive and a bit of a following due it's limited numbers. To be honest there's not a lot out there that is really capturing my interest as much as this car did so I'm going to think about it for a while.

Well this sad day of mine seems to be dragging out somewhat as my car hasn't been attracting many sensible offers

Thoughts? Is this the time of year with holiday season upon us?

I was really hoping to keep the car in the community and sell to an enthusiast but I might have to explore other outlets soon. Don't need the car gone but now I've decided to sell I really don't want it just sitting there when it can be bringing someone else enjoyment.

Car is getting detailed tomorrow so it will be nice and shinny for it's new owner

Well it looks like my RS6 is going to find its way into the trade network this weekend unless someone shows some genuine interest and has some money to spend :( Pretty fed up with it to be honest now and its really starting to leave a sour taste in my mouth regarding RS ownership. Loved this car, spent a fortune on it and really wanted to pass it onto a fellow enthusiast, not a clueless trade buyer  Had a couple of offers now but they have been lower than WBAC.com have offered and lower than +100K miles cars are being advertised at

Will see what the weekend brings but currently it looks like my RS ownership will come to a bit of a bitter end

You shouldn't let the fact that the car hasn't sold as quick as you wanted it to - to put you off the whole ownership experience?!

Andy it's a difficult one. It would be easy for me to say just wait for a private buyer but if you don't need or use the car it's a lot of money just sat in a garage.
I decided to keep mine in the end it's just too good to sell for the sort of money that someone will pay.

Don't blame you Mark and I wish I could do the same but now I've made my mind up I need to let it go now, so I need to do just that. Unfortunately for me this is still all part of the fall out from my separation therefore I need to put it behind me and get on with where I am.

It's hard to not let this taint my view of RS ownership when I've sunk as much as I have into the car recently and now I'm letting it go for a steal knowing that someone is going to pay more than I was originally advertising for!
