I own a RS6 V10 2008 that has 124K miles on the clock (Lot of maintenance lately but yes it still runs).
Recently the car have been started to pour tremendeous amounts of blue oil smoke on cold starts, and yes it comes from the right exhaust.
Its currently at the workshop to solve the problem, but i dont seem to understand why this occurs?
It runs great, doesnt take much oil either. It smokes maybe 1 of 4 cold starts and when it does its alot and as soon as it stops smoking after maybe 5 minutes theres no sign of that it ever been smoking that much!
Cant be valve stem seals, theres way too much smoke... Been reading something about the oil return on the right side of the engine is bad on the early RS6's, what does that mean? Workshop is thinking the oil comes from the crankcase ventilation, what do you guys think?
Other then that the car runs great with that much on the clock, still goign strong!
