I’m also having issues with misfiring.
My car has stage 2 remap done by litchfield Motors.
I took my car to Audi for a service where they change the spark plugs to the OEM sparks.
I did a long road trip from london to Madrid approx 3500 mile round trip.
And since then the car has been having a few misfires as it down shifts. I initially though it was normal as it does it on dynamic mode throw the Akropvic exhaust.
Took it again to Audi and they claim one of my turbos is gone and the cost to replace both and eye watering £7500.
I don’t see how the misfire is related to 1 turbo not working????
Any way I spoke to a chap who knows he’s staff in high performance modified cars. He said the standard plugs won’t be able to handle the heat of a stage 2 tuned as they can crack an cause damage to other parts of the engine.
So he recommended to upgrade the coils to Audi R8 spec and fit eridium sparks. In a way it makes sense as the engine will be running at hotter temperature then standard.

Re: Spark plugs at stage 2
Hey guys!
I’m brand new to you and I’ll be replacing the spark plug soon. I have a C6 RS6. 65,000 km ran and how far can you go to run an OEM spark plug? NGK Racing is what I want, regardless of whether the car is a series performance.
Thanks!

Hey guys! I live in Hungary and I live my life as a happy RS Audi owner with a C5 RS6 and C6 RS6. Regards, Stephen.
Re: Spark plugs at stage 2
Hi there, generally speaking there is no specific "you MUST replace the spark plugs to run Stage 2 (usually <750hp)" information given to owners by companies like MRC Tuning (who must have mapped 100's of C6 RS6's to Stage 2 by now) unless the car is going to be going past Stage 2 and producing over 800hp, at which point you WILL need better plugs.
My own personal take tends to be "better safe than sorry" so, as you're replacing all the plugs anyway, it wouldn't hurt to get 1 step colder than OEM even if it's not strictly 100% necessary as that will be safe anywhere upto 800hp and 2 steps colder if you're pushing 800hp upto 1000hp.
Chequered on the previous page mentioned some good NGK plugs which you could use - viewtopic.php?f=47&t=119734#p886232
