Hi,
I am just about to embark on the mission of installing the Aquamist water methanol injection system.
I’m information hunting so lots of questions.
Just trying to work out what size jets I should be using - I know a few of you’ve got water/meth injection - what jet sizes are you running? Where in the intakes is the optimum location for the jets, I’ve been told they should be at least 130mm from the throttle bodies.
Please share pictures for your install.
Are you injecting in to the inter-coolers?
I’m currently running the MTM stage 2 map, but I plan on getting it remapped once the WM is fitted.

RS6, C6, 2009, MRC Stage 2, Aquamist Water/Meth injection, secondary CAT’s deleted, BMC Filters, Headlight Upgrade second projector with RS lens - Trupps supplied the parts I built myself. Interior LED upgrade, C7 RS gear knob upgrade, AutoTecknic Shift Paddle Extensions, KW V3 Coil-overs, H&R ARB's, H&R spacers 8mm Fr & 10MM R.

Met with RS6Rob for lunch today - top banana and further ahead than me with mods. Us guys need WM due to outside temps in Dubai so any feedback will be welcomed.

IanH755, did you have a chance to look at your injectors and see what size they are?I'll have a look on Saturday for you, cars away til then.
Any chance of a photo showing their location?

Sorry, I didn't get my car back so couldn't check. There's a mapping delay (he's now on holiday) so Its not back til the 22nd.

What ever happened the MRC battlewagon? It was Doug's daily driver B5 A4 1.9TDi black avant. I was so fucken funny, I'd drop the clutch at an intersection and take off with elevenity squillion torque, only to look in the rear-vision mirror and see nothing but a soot storm and loads of angry faces.

I've never seen a TDi available since I first went to MRC in Jan 2014, it's always been just the Kalos and the S4 with the loudest gearbox/diff whine I've ever heard available.

I love cars with character. This was pre-2014, I think I had the battlewagon 2011 or 2012. Footlong had it too, loved it. It was Doug's daily hack, he said it wasn't mapped, to my surprise, it was immense fun.

Sorry Rob, I completely missed this!
I have the HFS4-v3.1 and the jet sizes are 1mm (500cc). Here's the pics I've got, I estimate my jets are around 120-150mm from the throttle bodies (no tape measure!).
And then here's the pump sat underneath the power steering reservoir, I use the screen washer bottle as the water/meth storage -
