Re: C6 upgraded ARB - Is this the right part number
Front one was easy but the rear is a bit more fiddly. I dropped the exhaust to make enough room to get the old one out and the new one in.

Would you improve steering (and/or handling) by replacing the front only?

Re: C6 upgraded ARB - Is this the right part number
Front - can be diy’ed and mandatory (based on feedback and comments on this forum)
Rear - requires advanced DIY skills and somewhat optional for an avg road user. If track is on the agenda that may dictate replacement of both.
Hope that helps.

Re: C6 upgraded ARB - Is this the right part number
I Have just changed both front and rear with the H & R ARB kit with the rear being set to the stiffer setting, the improved turn in and feel is surprising, I thought it would be marginal, but worth every penny, this is at all speeds on the road, I know will be even better on the track
Re: C6 upgraded ARB - Is this the right part number
Generally speaking -
A stiffer front ARB with an OEM rear promotes understeer.
A stiffer rear ARB with an OEM front promotes oversteer.
So as the RS6 tends to understeer at the limit (with no throttle applied) then really just a better rear ARB would help. However thats looking at things from a stand-alone situation and in reality just having a stiffer rear would make the car feel much more unstable and more prone to snap-oversteer etc while just a stiffer front would make the back of the feel like wobbly jelly in comparison, meaning neither of those alone make the car feel "planted".
You really need to keep a good balance with ARB's which is why they're normally sold as a front/rear pair.
