Hi all
Can't keep away from an RS. Having previously had two RS4's both saloon and Avant and a brief time with a TTRS along with a few others in between the RS itch needs scratching once more.
Would anyone know this car as it has taken my fancy.

Thanks for looking and your opinions would be appreciated.
Cheers

Re: OE08AOV
Car looks good!
Here's a copy and paste i wrote from another thread just as a heads up when buying one!
Dont let it put you off there are epic cars and there's only a few bad ones compared to a lot of good ones but it helps to know what to look out for and not get stung buying a shed like i did
I’ve owned two, bought my first one in March last year, and being honest as I can be it was a total nightmare!
Within a matter of weeks I was having issues, oil leaking from oil pump (dreaded common issue) but I just left it as had plans for various other things and didn’t want to remove the engine for that to happen just yet.
A month after I noticed this, one of my injectors failed causing severe bore wash meaning the engine had to come out and have a rehone, so that was a mega expensive do, £5k all in… and the oil cooler pipe burst spewing oil out all over the place so that was another 1k.
Parts are STUPID expensive, but then some things are silly cheap, genuine HPFP was £150 and took two mins to fit.
Discs and pads are expensive, I bought a set of Tarox’s from a member on here so that got my fronts sorted and pads are the same price as normal Audi pads, rear’s I converted to AP’s cost £740 all in for discs and bells.
I then lost all faith in the car and swapped if plus some cash for a Misano red one, except this time I did my research THIS IS PARAMOUNT – Ring your local audi dealership and ask them for the service record/options list.. that way you can be sure its been maintained and your sure of the options as a lot of dealers don’t put the correct options down.
Secondly ask the service tech to run through what was changed and replaced as they can tell you the notes on the file regarding maintenance.
This one is perfect, it has a little whine from the P/S pump but I was aware of this from day one and the car was cheap enough all things considered, it has a fantastic history file and the previous owner took it to the ring, did various track time etc and never had any issues so that was enough for me.
Gearbox!! Look out for bangs and rough changing into 4th this is the most common gearset to fail especially notchy when cold.
If it feel good (try it in manual mode medium throttle, if you do 2nd to 3rd then compare 3rd to 4th with same rev’s throttle itll give you a good indicator) if it does feel ok get the fluid changed regardless its marked as “sealed for life” but anyone will tell you that’s a load of sh!t.
Drivers seat, wear is quite common on the side bolster more so on the Napa leather than the black but don’t be too put off if it is, its not expensive to put right.
General – 3G mmi is a lot nicer than the 2G but will only be on cars 59 or later, these can be expensive… facelift cars also had a quite a lot of the silly niggles fixed, steering rack issues and the like. (so im told by my audi tech anyway) so if your budget allows try for a 59 or later C6.
Power wise mines 730/800ibft and its an animal, night and day to the stock feel.. if you want to make up for the handling then go see MRC for stg2 map and gearbox flash… transforms an already amazing machine into something truly special.
Other things I can think of is the Secondary Air Injection this is very common to block up and throw a code (no CEL) causes misfires on cold start and overfueling as its not getting enough air in through the Kombi valves, so if you inspecting one take a handheld vag scanner with you or ask them to plug VCDS in and show you any codes right there.
That’s about all I can think of apart from whats been suggested already!
Good luck if you want any info help PM me.
