Hi guys.....

Need Some help Abut the Full injectors the OEM IS TO EXPENSIVE
SO I FOUND AFTER MARKET FULL INJECTORS *huco* AND HITACHI FOUND IT IN GOOD PRICE
Did any one Try it....?
Did Anyone Recommend it After market or stick On The OEM....?

Wasn't aware of aftermarket injectors, but I'm new to rs6 so hopefully someone here may have more insight on this topic.

Personally i'd stick OEM as when i had an injector go down on my old C6 it stuck open and caused me bore wash meaning the engine had to be removed....

A new injector was £125 from TPS so i dont think they are "that" expensive really.

The bill for engine removal and rehone was over £4000 i'd rather invest that little bit extra in an OEM injector than have my engine removed because a cheap injector stuck open.
Just my opinion though!

Out of curiosity, are they prone to fail on C6’s?

What are the symptoms of a ‘failed injector’ on FSI engines?

While this place isn't an exhaustive list of C6 owners, I think there has only been a few people having an injector issues on here. As for symptoms here is a list of threads people started describing their symptoms -

McF reported a failed a failed injector as a reply to someone else but gave no symptoms.

It depends on how it fails.

I had an injector driver fail on another car and hold wide open. Symptoms were loss of power and white smoke/reek of fuel from the exhaust.

Is there a way to check (via VCDS or any other tool) whether they are working as expected?

Fuel rail pressure checks, error messages and cylinder misfires (if its stuck closed rather than open) would be a good set of checks.

Two new injectors and the car drives like a dream now.

FYI - MRC map 'hides' misfire errors... when out back on stock, it was much easier to diagnose the fault.
