Had quite a few bits to it, the seals don't cost too much and you're better off changing the bits and bobs whilst the engine bay is out for the sake of hundred pounds, you're minimising future failure as these seals eventually wear out, losing their purpose.

There you go mate, except for the thermostat I think all the parts were pertaining to the oil leak, can't say if all the seals were used but seeing they are a few squid, I strongly advice to replace them for good measure.
Some part numbers are the revised/updated parts i.e. Most current part no. I used TPS by the by. Good-luck.

Hi, sorry to dig up an old thread, but I can't find any info on part 07L103081 Oil Strainer.
Why do we require 8 of these? The parts drawings show 1.......I think.
I have to pull my engine out for transmission overhaul and want to cover all the usual bases while it is out. I am just ordering parts now.
I will drop in and post a hi in the welcome area. When i get a couple of things sorted.
Cheers

The diagram only shows 1 but there are 8 ports and each has a strainer fitted.

Great, thanks Jim.
20 minutes after posting my question, the very next photo I looked at showed all 8.
Cheers

Good to know - thanks chaps.
I'm also looking to drop the engine in mine to address the faulty PAS pump. Other than the list of parts stated above, any other jobs worth looking into or addressing while both engine + g/box are 'down'? e.g. engine mounts, anything to do with turbo's, exhaust downpipes maybe etc.
Thanks much!
