We need a video clip!! :jump:

Do you get any droning or anything?
I'm working on getting a vid today. I think the sound is EPIC in this spec (3" / DP / no cat / res ). Idle is meaty, WOT is closer to an N/A V10, and gear change fart is accentuated. That's the only way I can think to describe it.

I found the milteck to drone and boom in low speed high gear situations (35-45mph in 5/6th) and in higher speed high gear situations (75-85mph in 6th), and I now have none of that. The sound is consistant, regardless of speed and gear, and only increases in-line with the loud pedal.

Sound is always an individual thing when it comes to exhausts, but personally, I love it.

Woah woah.... Heard this yesterday!

Best sounding C6 I've ever heard

Beats a defatted Milltek dead

Bretto is spot on when he says it closer to a NA V10 sound than I've ever heard on a C6, but still lots of bass

Gear change fart was ridonkulus

Epic!

That looks really nice, would love to see what it does on a Dyno. Do you get any flames from the exhaust without the cats?

Do you have any pics of the exhaust square on from behind, and from the side to show how much it sticks out and how much it fills the exhaust aperture in the diffuser?

Don't think Bretto has those photos so I'm here to help and share. Mine is the same with perfect gapping and protrusion. Hope you don't mind me Bretto. :biggrin3:

No big secret here, just don't want these guys swamped with work / enquiries before this stage of my car is completed. Mapping results to come.

Here's the Vid.

Doesn't do it justice, I'll try to get a idle and drive-by with less road noise.

Sorry for not responding to PMs, been hectic.

Easier to answer Q's in one here.

Exhaust done by Dan @ Demand Engineering. Google them to see some Aston Martin manifold porn!!

DP's cost me £1680 incl installed.

As I didn't want the engine moved, I did risk a bolt being sheered, which did happen and they charged me £100 incl extra to cover labour and a replacement OEM bolt.

I believe the DP 's were fabricated on a jig, but not sure. Call them to discuss.

Not sure exactly how they managed it engine in, as I have only heard of engine drop solutions.

The rest of the system was a custom 3" build, so best to talk to them about custom requirements. I spent approx £1800 on the rest of the system installed (DP's to tip), so about the same as a Milteck cat back before installation.
